Bennet Distributors is the largest importer of alcoholic beverages and one of the largest distributors in Lithuania; it was established in 1992. The company represents over 70 alcohol producers and more than 100 famous brands from all over the world. The company is also the official distributor of House of Prince tobacco products in Lithuania
Bennet Distributors, one of Lithuania's Top 50 of the largest and fastest growing companies, was acquired by the SPI Group in January, 2006. The total turnover of Bennet Distributors almost doubled over the past two years following the SPI Group's acquisition. There are over 300 employees currently working at the company.
The main advantage of Bennet Distributors is its ability to provide a wide range of professional services and products and to develop them successfully. The company has a well-developed distribution network in Lithuania with offices in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, Panevezys, Siauliai and Marijampole.
Marek Kuklis, General Manager of JSC "Bennet Distributors"
Marek Kuklis has extensive experience in the alcoholic beverage and tobacco business over a 15-year period. His career at SPI Group began in 2004, when he was appointed to run the representative office in Lithuania of Latvijas Balzams, which is the largest producer of alcoholic beverages in the Baltic States. Later, in 2006, Marek Kuklis continued his career as Business Development Manager at Bennet Distributors and a member of the Board. Since 2007 he is the General Manager of Bennet Distributors.
Marek Kuklis holds an MBA degree from Vilnius University. He is also a vice-president of Lithuania's Association of Producers and Distributors of Alcoholic Beverages.
Before that, he had been a professional sportsman in the Lithuanian national academic rowing team.
